Bathroom Renovations In Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge & Guelph

Give Your Bathroom the Upgrade it Deserves - Without the Hassle of Managing it Yourself

From Powder Rooms to Full En-Suites

Every bathroom starts with how you use it. We measure the room, plan the layout, and work through storage, lighting and ventilation before anything is ordered. Then we help you choose tile, fixtures, vanities and finishes that suit your home and your budget. You’ll see the full plan on paper, with lead times confirmed, before construction begins.

One team, start to finish.
Design, permits, plumbing, electrical, tile and finishing, all managed by BRICON. You deal with one team, not five trades.

Types of Bathroom Renovations We Build

Some bathrooms need new fixtures and tile. Others need to be stripped back to the studs. We do both, and everything in between.

  • Powder rooms: small-space updates that make a big first impression on guests
  • Main and family bathrooms: durable layouts and finishes built for busy households
  • En-suites: from a simple refresh to a full primary-suite retreat with a walk-in shower
  • Basement bathrooms: adding a full or partial bath where there wasn’t one
  • Accessible bathrooms: curbless showers, grab bars and wider clearances for aging in place
  • Pool cabana and pool house bathrooms: a shower, washroom and change room steps from the pool
  • Commercial washrooms: durable, easy-to-clean washrooms for offices, shops and restaurants

Our main floor bathroom was over fifteen years old. Now it’s a glass walk-in shower, a floating vanity with custom cabinetry, white octagonal tile and a door straight out to the pool.

Why Choose BRICON Contracting Corporation?

Most of our new projects come from the same place: a neighbour who saw the work next door and called us. We don’t advertise results we can’t deliver, and we’d rather let a finished project speak for itself than make a promise we can’t back up. In 24 years we’ve completed 235+ projects, and 45% of our clients come back to us for their next one. Every bathroom renovation is backed by our 5-year workmanship warranty.

Our Construction Manager, Bryan Klomp, is a Red Seal Certified General Carpenter with over two decades in the trades. Our Project Estimator & Coordinator, Olayemi Adesina, holds a Bachelor of Technology in Architecture and a Distinction in Construction Management, and is completing her CAPM certification. Every project we manage is fully permitted and inspected where required, backed by $5,000,000 in liability insurance and full WSIB coverage — we’re a turnkey operation, so you don’t have to coordinate any of it yourself. We’re also proud to hold an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and a Best of Houzz Service Award.

BRICON Contracting Corporation carries full WSIB coverage for all employees and sub-trades. Every project we manage is fully permitted and inspected — we file for permits, coordinate engineering and stamped drawings, and manage plumbing, electrical, and building inspections from start to finish. We are a turnkey operation. You don’t have to coordinate any of it.

Our Process

Every bathroom renovation starts with a walk-through of your home — not a sales pitch. We look at your current layout, your plumbing and how the room gets used day to day, then talk through what’s possible within your budget.

1. Design & Planning
We turn what we heard at the walk-through into a layout and a plan on paper before anything gets ordered.

2. Permits
If the work moves plumbing or changes walls, we handle the permits and inspections so you don’t have to.

3. Material Selection
You choose tile, fixtures, vanities and finishes with our guidance, and we confirm lead times upfront so nothing holds up the build.

4. Protect Your Home Before & During Construction
We seal off the work area, protect floors and hallways, and keep dust out of the rest of your house.

5. Construction
Our crew works to a schedule you’ve seen in advance, and you’ll know who’s in your home each day.

6. Final Walkthrough
We’re not finished until you’ve walked the completed bathroom with us and everything on your list has been addressed.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a bathroom renovation cost in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge or Guelph?

It depends on the size of the room and the scope of the work. A powder room refresh sits at the lower end, while a full en-suite with a new layout and a custom shower costs more. We’ll walk through your bathroom and give you a clear, itemized estimate before any work begins.

It depends on the scope. Replacing fixtures, tile and vanities in the same locations usually doesn’t need one. Moving plumbing, adding a new bathroom or changing walls may. We’ll confirm what your project needs and handle the permits and inspections.

Timelines depend on scope and material lead times. A cosmetic update moves faster than a full gut and new layout. We’ll give you a realistic schedule upfront and keep you updated throughout.

If it’s your only bathroom, we’ll talk through timing before work starts and plan the schedule to keep the disruption as short as possible.

Often, yes. It depends on where the plumbing and structure can go, which we check during the walk-through before anything is designed.

We handle it. BRICON manages every trade on your bathroom, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, tile and finishing carpentry, and schedules them in the right order so there’s no waiting between stages. We also arrange the permits and inspections. You have one point of contact from the first walk-through to the final walkthrough.

Yes. We guide you through tile, fixtures, vanities and finishes so the room works together and suits the rest of your home.

Yes. Every project we complete is backed by our 5-year workmanship warranty. If something’s not right, we make it right.

We’ve been renovating homes across Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph for 24 years, and our reputation is built on referrals — neighbours who saw the finished work and called us. We manage the whole job with one team, so you’re not coordinating trades yourself.
